Jananie K. Velu is a YouTuber, writer, publisher, and overall overstimulated human who raves about her favourite books on her channel thisstoryaintover with its audience of nearly 100k subscribers.

In 2023, Jananie joined the startup membership platform, Bindery, to launch her independent publishing imprint, Boundless Press, which strives to uplift stories that reflect the beauty and flawed complexity of human nature.

As a neurodivergent queer woman of colour living with mental illness, Jananie always strives to discover and amplify stories that represent the world around her, and named her channel “This Story Ain't Over” (styled thisstoryaintover) because of her strong belief that we are in a constant (and often messy) process of growth and change. Jananie was born in Canada to Sri Lankan Tamil refugees and now lives in downtown Toronto where she can be found working her nine-to-five in marketing when she isn’t busy reading her next favourite book.
